The high density and the atomic properties of lead make it an ideal material of choice for protection against ionizing radiation and of course x-rays. Bricks, wool and shot
We manufacture lead bricks to CEA/ EURATOM standard which are used in the construction of shielded cells, shielded enclosures with lead glass port-holes and remote manipulators and specific protection. The lead shot is intended to fill the metal voids which are difficult to protect with conventional products.

Plates
In collaboration with its customers, D'HUART INDUSTRIE can develop shielding from rolled and machined lead plates, for non-destructive control testing, control of welding, light beams and synchrotrons.

Rafters
Lead strips with assembly out of rafters like bricks, but flexible in dimension.
Installation of shielding for oncology suites, medical imagery or tomography.
